1. Project Summary
Tourism is one of the sectors most hardly hit during the COVID19 pandemic. The InnoXenia PLUS project has been designed in such a way so as to allow the exploitation of the tangible and intangible results of the previous Adrion InnoXenia project, optimize their value, enhance their impact and facilitate their integration at multiple levels, also taking into account the pandemic impact on tourism. It, thus, pays particular attention to the sustainability of the results and the enhancement of their impacts at regional level through direct involvement of local and regional policy makers, stakeholders and enterprises. The valorisation procedure ensures that all possible channels and opportunities are used so that InnoXenia’s outcomes reach as many potential beneficiaries as possible, in order to provide benefits that meet the specific needs of a wider audience of beneficiaries, achieving so the longevity and sustainability of the project.
The project envisaged activities:
- Organization of phygital events, either in person or online, in all partner countries promoting the InnoXenia outcomes and results at national/regional level.
- Organization of phygital stakeholders’ events, either in person or online, in all partner countries addressed to tourism stakeholders such as travel agencies, hotels representatives and other tourist operators, promoting practical application of InnoXenia products/practices.
- Organization of events in cooperation with ADRION National Contact Points, either in person or online, in each partner country providing first-hand information on managing and implementing European projects to future potential beneficiaries hosting project and potential partners on future projects.
- Enhancement of InnoXenia produced strategies relevant to tourism so as to both address need for Covid 19 negative impact recovery and to make tourism more innovative and resilient to future relevant crises.
InnoXenia Plus will thus increase overall awareness on InnoXenia outputs and results, enhance them and promote their transferability, while facilitating also territorial cooperation in the ADRION partner territories.
