Integrated intervention to improve access to services and Urban Requalification in the area of Palas - Livadh
Funded by the Albanian government, works has started for the rehabilitation of Dhrale.
The project in the coastal area foresees:
- Road construction, a public parking lot, a pier, as well as the public beach in Dhrale;
- Road construction, promenade, a public parking lot and the pier in Livadh
- The pier in Drimadhe
The construction of this road enables the access of residents and tourists to the coastal tourist area of the Ionian Sea. Also is foreseen a space of 7430m2 public parking for:
- 144 parking spaces for cars
- 5 parking spaces for people with disabilities
- 10 parking spaces for buses
- 32 parking spaces for bicycles
- 10 parking spaces for camper
Meanwhile, the pier will have a length of 46m, as well as a connecting road with a promenade with a length of 50.6m. It is worth mentioning that in this object is included a public beach in which are provided tents, showers, toilets and observation tower. The investment will provide full horizontal and vertical signage, water drainage and lighting along the entire length of the road.
Livadh
In this area, the road, the promenade and the parking do not have an existing trace and so they will be built in natural terrain. The planned promenade will be in use only by pedestrians. Also are foreseen several small squares along the promenade. An important role along it plays the greenery, where three different families of plants will create the green band of the promenade.
The pier in Livadh is foreseen to have an area of 400 m2 and parking with an area of 4487m2, designed for;
- 126 parking spaces for cars
- 6 parking spaces for buses
The investment will provide full horizontal and vertical signage, water drainage and lighting along the entire length of the road.
Following these investments is foreseen the Moli in the area of Drimadhe , similar to the one in Dhrale and Livadh, suitable for anchoring small boats or ships.
