Vlora River Road, Great Economic Impact for locals
Tirana, November 8- The executive director of the Albanian Development Fund, Benet Beci, stated today at the commission for Productive Activities, Trade and Environment, next year will be reconstructed some axis in Vlora River. The latter will bring a great economic impact on the development of the area.
Benet Beci, stressed that "Vlora River project is one of the most important in Vlora region and has a great economic impact on the area".
“Surrounding villages will have access to the main axis. We are considering how to connect Tepelene area down to Himare” - he said.
The executive director of the ADF explained the work phases. ”Work on the first segment of the road, with 23 km length, from Peshkepia to Gjorm have an excellent progress and we hope next summer the road to be concluded with all its parameters. ”
"Very soon work will start in two other lots from Gjormi to Brataj and from Laskos Bridge to Qeparo. We are working to start work on both lots at the same time. Meanwhile, segment contract from Selenica Bridge to Peshkepi Bridge has been signed and I believe it will start next year ", - stated Beci.
