This intervention is focused in the last road segment Tepelena - Gusmar which is the first part of the road axis Tepelena - Kuc and connects the province of Kurvelesh and the province of Kuci with Tepelena city. As well as in the future will connect the Ionian Coast in Borsh of Saranda

The segment Tepelena - Bence exit (7.9 km long) and Lekdush entrance - Gusmar entrance (10 km long) have been reconstructed with funds of the Albanian Government. The asphalt layer width is 5 m and the road body is 6.5 m.

Meanwhile,works are in process at the segment Bence exit - Lekdush entrance with a length of 7.5 km.

Currently this segment is in poor condition where there are no road layers, side channels, retaining walls, road protection barriers, etc. There is a lack of horizontal and vertical signage, and the road is not wide.

When the reconstruction of the road from Tepelena to Borsh will be completed will be possible to connect Vjosa valley and Gjirokastra-Levan Road with Borsh Coast, thus creating a corridor of mobility for locals and foreign tourists. This road axis is included in the Local and National Strategies for Tourism Development.
