Tourist demands in Albanian Alps
Tirana- The program “Master Plan of Albanian Alps” by ADF formulates a long-term framework for the development of this region and its transformation into an important tourism pole in the country and an international tourist destination, based on its stunning beauty and culture.
The Master Plan extends in 4 municipalities and 12 administrative units:
- Pult, Shosh, Shale- municipality of Shkodra
- Shllak and Temal - municipality of Vau i Dejes
- Kelmend and Shkrel - Malesi e Madhe municipality
- Bajram Curri, Bujan, Margegaj, Lekbibaj dhe Tropoje e Vjeter - municipality of Tropoja
A brief statistical information on tourism demand:
“Based on indicators such as accessibility, natural resource management, variety and uniqueness of attractions, quality of services and accommodation system, can be proposed a projection of the demand per stay nights.
In this context it is estimated that the number of annual stay nights for 2031 will reach from 2,022,000 to 2,600,000 stay nights per year. ”
