Breathing space for city- Works started on Bajram Curri’s ring road
"The Albanian Development Fund announces new projects to be implemented in Albania from north to south.
These projects aims to serve to community and cover a range of key areas in the country such as: infrastructure, tourism, local and national economies, partnerships, urban development and social benefits. ”
Specifically:
Works started on "Bajram Curri's ring road, Second Phase”
This project is one of the main priorities of the municipality of Bajram Curri and follows on some intervention implemented recently for urban revitalization of the area.
The intervention is planned to be implemented in the the neighborhood of "Partizani" and "Dardania" , thus functioning as the ring of the city.
Currently the existing road is amortized.
Most part of the road has never been paved before and there is a lack of underground infrastructure.
The project consists of complete reconstruction of this axis, expansion and realization of all layers of stabilizer, binder, asphalt-concrete, construction of engineering networks, water supply, construction of sidewalks, as well as lighting infrastructure.
This investment will boost urban and inter-urban mobility, thus serving to revitalize different areas of the economy.
The axis will facilitate the development of agricultural and livestock trade and conditions for mountain and natural tourism, being a link between the Albanian Alps, nature parks and Valbona Valley.
