Tirana- Implemented by the Albanian Development Fund, this project aims to solve the problem of potable water to 328 families, (in the villages of Mal Vilez, Vilez, Zall Bastar, Zall Dajt, Shengjin i Vogel and Besh)in the Administrative Unit of Zall Bastar, Tirana municipality.

The main purpose is to supply locals with potable water according to EU standards.
The project in the AU of Zall Bastar will be implemented in two separate schemes.e të ndara nga njëra-tjetra.
The villages of Mal Vilez and Vilez are supplied from the springs "Kroi i Rucetes" and "Gurra e Madhe", while the villages of Shengjin i Vogel, Zall Dajt, Besh and Zall Bastar are supplied from the main water supply pipeline of Tirana. 

Main components are:

  • Construction of 72 water meter boxes in the distribution network for the supply of 328 families of these villages,
  • Construction of sewage system and a septic tank in Mal Vilez village,
  • Construction of two transmission lines, well-pump discharge pressure, etc
  • Construction of the distribution network in the villages of AU Zall Bastar , well-pump discharge pressure, etc.,
  • Construction of 6 reservoirs and chlorination chambers,
  • Construction of two water catchments in the village of Mal Vilez,
  •  Construction of distribution lines from the distribution point to the boundaries of each family.

Works are expected to be completed in May next year, to finally resolve the water supply problem.
