TIRANA-The next intervention is the systematization of Zeze River of Fushe-Kruje area. 
The river is the main supplier of one of the most attractive canyons located near the village of Nikel an hour drive from Tirana. The canyon has become a frequently-visited destination by tourists.

Until late year the Zeze River was the nightmare of 1.800 families and 100 businesses, because of regular floods during October-May period, caused by river high flows and lack of infrastructure.
The intervention in the Zeze River is implemented by the Albanian Development Fund on behalf of the Albanian government. 
This investment includes the construction of two new bridges, drainage system construction, provision and operation of temporary pumps, as well as other equipment needed. 

The project aims will hopefully solve definitively floods damages and will facilitate the circulation of vehicles and pedestrians.
