New sport fields in Kashar schools
Today during a sport match between students were inaugurated the new sport fields of two schools in Kashar. This investment is part of the of the Regional Development Programme Albania- III Phase, with a value of 59,971 Euros . The investment include the reconstruction of the existing mini-football field, the construction of a multisport field at the secondary school "Sadik Stavileci", and the construction of a multisport field in the primary school Katundi i Ri", in Kashar administrative unit, Municipality of Tirana. The construction area is about 714 square meters. Civil works have started in November and the implementation period was 4 months.
According to project calculations the beneficiary population is approximately 80 thousand residents. 700 pupils of “Katundi i Ri” school and 600 pupils of “Sadik Staliveci” school will have a better environment for the physical education hours and not only. Furthermore, according to the National Strategy “School as a Community Center” and Tirana Municipality Action Plan, school sport fields after school hours will be open to the community.
The intervention includes the reconstruction of the existing mini-football field and the construction of a new multisport area of 379 square meters in the “Sadik Stavileci” school, the construction of a multisport field with a surface area of 335 square meters in "Katundi i Ri" school. The fields are surrounded by metal fences with a height 2 meters and plastic fences with a height 3 meters. The fields have all related sport equipment.
1300 students of both schools welcomed this investment.
