Peshkopi Ring Road helps the small northern town breathe again
Besides the new Ring Road, the Albanian Development Fund has recently completed another project in Dibra region. The Kastriot-Arras road, 6 km long, shortens the distance and connects inhabitants of 20 villages (Arras and Fushe Cidhen) with Peshkopi.
TIRANA- Construction of sidewalks along the new road and installation of lightening system is in progress. Social problems which caused delays were solved and now 98% of works have been completed.
Pavement of the road has been completed and underground engineering network, lightening system, etc., have been installed
The Ring Road of Peshkopia is financed by the Albanian government within the framework of the Albanian Development Fund's "Rehabilitation of Priority Roads" program.
The road serves as a bypass especially for heavy vehicles, thus reducing traffic in Peshkopia town.
