Reconstruction works of Mihal Komneno Road in Berat are progressing at a very good pace
Tirana- Reconstruction work of Mihal Komneno Road, 1.2 km, otherwise known as the pedestrian path to Berat castle, are progressing at a very good pace.
Currently, 65% of the reconstruction works have been carried out and the remaining part is proceeding even in holiday days. The removal of the existing stone surface of the cobblestone road, establishment of sewerage system and electricity system have been completed. Meanwhile, cobblestone pavement, lightening system and other project elements are in progress.
Cobblestone pavement on Tabja panoramic view point has been completed and the next working step is maintenance and greenery work .
Reconstruction works are scheduled to be completed in October 2018. Vehicles movement around the castle will be realized only via “Muzak Topia” street on which reconstruction works will begin very soon.
The project of Euro 13.5 Mln, within the Integrated Urban and Tourism Development is program is financed by the Albanian government and World Bank and implemented by the Albanian Development Fund.
