Positioned east of the entrance of "Qafë e Pazarit", "Square" Çerçiz Topulli "which dates back to the 60s", was not considered functional or an element of tourist infrastructure. On the contrary, the limited and amortized space was not the right picture for the growing demands to visit the city and consequently the need for vehicle accommodation.

Tourists who did not hesitate to leave impressions on social networks underlined that to visit the "Qafa e Pazarit", or move in the city was impossible due to lack of parking.

Recalling the figures, early parking with a maximum of 80 lots did not meet the minimum of 120-150 lots, required on weekends. Business units (hotels, etc.) did not guarantee free parking.

The project comes in coherence with a series of interventions in the city, which preserve the museum area, cultural heritage but also connect the urban spaces, the latter transformed and ready to be explored by tourists. In this regard, in addition to the new planned spaces, one part is planned to be organized as a pedestrian area.

The investment aims to facilitate movement as well as emphasize the characteristic architecture of the city, which in every corner bears visible traces of historical values.

"Before, in the afternoons we had nowhere to go even for a lap. The square comes to light, there is place for cars and for us ”, Resident of the area.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, representatives of tourist services, underline that: "Clients found it difficult to park or come to the museum area. The systematization of ‘Çerçiz Topulli’ square and the surrounding areas makes it very easy, especially for us who have businesses around here. ” Tour operator
