Together for risk prevention! One of the most important values of the ADF is the development of works with the greatest care for the Health and Safety of staff, partners, contractors and their staff, as well as the people of the communities where we work. We are committed to achieving and maintaining the "Zero Accident"performance, as well as working with other parties to promote Health and Safety efficiency throughout the continuity of our projects.
Referring to law 10237 dated 18.02.2010, DCM 312 dated 16.03.2011 and European standards International Labor Law (ILO) as regulators that through certain norms and provisions aim to provide guidance on the health and safety of workers. Their implementation requires an active commitment from both the employer and the employee, not to take this process as "one more bureaucracy", but as an investment in vital skills and knowledge.
Each of us in his daily work can face various dangers. Defined in categories, depending on the cause as follows: 1) Safety risks associated with - obstructions / falls. 2) Biological hazards - bacteria / viruses, waste / contaminated waste, animals 3) Physical hazards - radiation, weather, loud noises. 4) Ergonomic hazards - wrong posture / posture, heavy ups and downs, work environment / poor desks. 5) Chemical hazards - unlabeled liquids / liquids, combustible substances, harmful gases. 6) Risks of workload - violence, stress, confrontational pressure, flexibility.
Meanwhile, employers are taking more and more concrete steps towards awareness, in order to make H&S a personal culture for everyone. Creating and implementing a risk prevention strategy in the work environment aims to significantly reduce consequential incidents and mitigate problems during work processes.
- Education and training of managers and employees
- Risk assessment and management
- Implementation of dedicated projects in eliminating and / or mitigating the effects on the environment, safety and health of people.
- Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contract requirements in relation to the protection of the TOSH including all standards of the ADF Management Plan.
- Ongoing consultation with partners, government, government agencies, communities and contractors on TOSH issues
- Develop and establish appropriate parameters for TOSH to measure, and continuously promote performance related to occupational safety and health.
The policies undertaken will focus not only on ADF employees, but also on employees of contracted companies working on projects that the ADF implements on behalf of the funding parties. Firstly helps to develop a positive culture of safety and health at work and secondly promotes employee motivation.
The policies of the organization are standardized in accordance with the focus of activity and ADF values at the project and organization level, and are based on standards and best practices certified by world organizations such as ILO, FIDIC, OHAS, etc.
