Tirana- Albania’s coastline length, including lagoons area, is 450 km. To the north it begins at the estuaries of Buna River and to the south it ends at Cape Stillo. Beaches, lagoons, sea caves are the treasures of this place.

The beauty and the geographical position of Albania offer to visitors not only the sun and the sea. Evidence of a historical, cultural heritage, from the early civilizations by the sea, as well as exploration of the virgin nature. National tourist operators provides many activities such as walking, cycling, parachuting, canoeing, diving, etc. They offer to visitors an unforgettable experience of coastal tourism.

Tourism, in order to be continuous and qualitative, needs a modern infrastructure, which must also support the services. Many projects aim to provide improvements in the landscape with appropriate urban elements. Interventions in common spaces have a great importance. There nature and urban area become one.

During summer, overcrowding, insufficient and unsystematic spaces have brought the need to improve the infrastructure. This modern infrastructure includes several thousand m2 in greenery, pedestrians, lighting, parking and other elements of urban furniture. And socially, the goal is to include all age groups as direct beneficiaries; since the afternoon walk "after the beach break", the time for the family after a busy day or the initiative to start your own business nearby, in relation to the increase in demand. In this framework, the task of implementing agencies to meet all needs range from public consultation with stakeholders, to the approval of the final project, which should reflect all the needs and suggestions of the community. The ADF projects along the coastline come as a sustainable and long-term solution to the socio-economic development of the area where the intervention will take place.

Interventions are always implemented respecting the environment and preserving the cultural and historical heritage.
