New water supply schemes are being implemented across the country. The intervention is implemented in Katund i Ri Administrative Unit, Durres. The project is implemented by the Albanian Development Fund and the direct benneficaries are the inhabitants of the villages Jube, Erzen, Sukth, Qerret, Katund i Ri, Fllake, Sektori Rinia, Mamez. and Lagje e Mirditoreve .
Works on site are ongoing with the installation of pipelines in the internal network and have been installed information signage for each site.The environmental management plan has been realized in advance.
Furthermore, have been carried excavations, cementing of the 200 m3 water storage. Meanwhile other constructional works are ongoing.
In the coming weeks works will be focused on the internal and external water supply network.
This program is funded by KfW, IPA 2013, WBIF and the Albanian Government to improve basic living conditions in the rural areas.
