Tirana- The investment for the reconstruction of Shiroka square is expected to be joined in the future with the project “Requalification of the Western Coast in Shkodra Lake” .
Currently works are focused in paving the square with stones, where about 7500 m2 of surface has finished. 65% of works have been completed

Work begun on the parking space and enriching the greenery. This intervention is in the framework ofthe project "Priority Investments - Impact on Tourism Development and Promotion".

The project financed by the Albanian Government is implemented by the Albanian Development Fund and is expected to be completed in February next year. The project aims to turn Shiroka into an important entertainment, culture and tourism hub by promoting activities, as well as revitalizing history and traditions without affecting the natural character of the area.
