Tirana- The reconstruction of this axis, 17.6 km long is toward completion. The project foresees widening the road with 4 m, from the first kilometer to the entrance to Torovica.
In the residential part of Torovica and Bend, the asphalted road will be 6 m wide and the axis Torovica-Bend will be 4 m wide. In roads of 4 meters are foreseen extensions of 2 meters, thus allowing vehicle exchange. The width is determined based on vehicles passing through this axis. Over 95% of the asphalt layer (ELJ method) has been realized.

80% of works regarding concrete walls and other additional works have been completed. Meanwhile, works for pavement construction, lighting, greenery, vertical and horizontal signage are proceeding in the urban area of Torovica. This project, financed by the Albanian government, is expected to be completed within November of this year.
This project aims to improve the living conditions, the access of farmers to markets, thus turning this area into an important node for the movement of vehicles and residents of the area.
