The Albanian Development Fund has organized a forum to discuss ideas about innovative tourism strategies, activities and new services in many tourism fields, such as:

  • Gastronomy, souvenirs, selection of destinations, marketing etc.

This forum is organized in the framework of the constant change of tourist demands and behavior. In this context, it is important to take measures to:

    1. cope with these changes,
    2. improve skills to use new products, processes and services in order to enrich natural and cultural tourism offers.
Representatives from public and private universities in Tirana and districts, Co-Plan, Institute of Archeology and tour operators participated in this discussion. The project is funded by the European Union through IPA funds and is devoted entirely to innovation in Tourism in the Adriatic-Ionian region

The Albanian Development Fund is the representative institution for Albania. Other participant countries in this project are Greece, Italy, Albania, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
