Rehabilitimi i rrugës “Muzak Topia” për në Kalanë e Beratit është pjesë e investimeve që po realizohen nga Fondi Shqiptar i Zhvillimit në kuadër të projektit “Zhvillimi i Integruar Urban e Turistik në Shqipëri”, i financuar prej Bankës Botërore nëpërmjet Qeverisë Shqiptare. Projekti teknik, i hartuar me porosi të Bashkisë Berat dhe i miratuar nga Banka Botërore, parashikon rehabilitimin e rrugës ekzistuese automobilistike, segmenti nga rrethrrotullimi tek ish-rezervat e shtetit deri te lapidari në Kala, si dhe segmenti nga Lapidari në Kala deri te kisha e Shën Ilias, Berat, përfshirë përmirësimin:
– Aksesit në lagjet e banuara nëpërmjet ndërhyrjes në pikat hyrëse ekzistuese dhe kalimet
– Vendosjes së trotuareve me pemë
– Rikonstruksionit të të gjithë elementëve të infrastrukturës si (kanalizimet, kanalet e drenazhimit, etj)
– Parkimin për autobuzat dhe mjetet private
Konsultimi me publikun per Planin e Menaxhimit Social dhe Mejdisor per kete nenprojekt ne Qytetin e Beratit u organizua ne ambjentet e Bashkise, ne daten 22 Shkurt, 2018. Minutat e ketij takimi gjenden ne shtojcen e Planit te Menaxhimit Mjedisor dhe Social final:

The rehabilitation of “Muzak Topia” road to Berat Castle
The rehabilitation of “Muzak Topia” road to Berat Castle is part of the investments that are being implemented by the Albanian Development Fund under the project “Integrated Urban and Tourism Development”, funded by the World Bank through the Albanian Government. The technical project, drafted by the Municipality of Berat and approved by the World Bank, foresees the rehabilitation of the existing vehicle road, the segment from the roundabout at the former state reserves to the lapidary in Kala, as well as the segment from Lapidari to the church of St. Ilias, Berat, including the improvement of:
– Access to residential quarters through intervention at existing access points and crossings
– Placement of walking paths with trees
– Reconstruction of all elements of infrastructure such as (sewerage, drainage channels, etc.)
– Parking for buses and private vehicles
The public consultation for the Environmental and Social Management Plan for this subproject in the town of Berat was organized at the Berat Municipality, on February 22, 2018. Minutes of this meeting are included as an annex to the final Environmental and Social Managemetn Plan
